What Helps KOVA Help You

Your strategy is whatever you want it to be — a detailed framework, a few sentences, or anything in between. These are just ingredients that help KOVA give you sharper briefs. Use what fits.

The ingredients

Not a checklist. Mix, skip, or combine as you like — KOVA adapts to what you give it.

1. Allocations

Where you want your capital or risk to sit — rough or precise targets for weights, exposures, or position sizes.

Example: “30% VOO, 20% QQQ, 15% IBIT, rest in bonds” or “Core: broad tech; satellite: conviction plays in NVDA, AMD, and BTC.”

2. Horizon & Focus

How long you’re playing the game and what you are optimizing for.

Example: “Long-term compounding” or “Active swings around a core position” or “Income through covered calls.”

3. Current Market View

Your current stance on the market or on specific tickers — this part is expected to change as conditions shift.

Example: “Bullish on MSFT and NVDA, neutral on SPY, cautious on small caps and PYPL for now.”

4. Action Rules

When you actually do something: rebalance, trim, add, sell calls, or rotate.

Example: “Rebalance at 5% drift” or “Sell calls at 30% OTM when bullish; roll if tested” or “Add when price reclaims support and trim into strength.”

5. Constraints

Hard limits and exclusions that define your risk box.

Example: “No single position over 15%” or “Max 1% per swing. No leverage. No new crypto positions. No adding to losing positions.”

Note: Current Market View is the dynamic piece — update it whenever your outlook shifts. The rest usually changes less often.

Some traders write detailed playbooks. Others keep it to three lines. Both work — KOVA adapts to what you give it.

From Vague to Clear

Vague

“I want to grow my money and maybe trade sometimes.”

Clear

“Core: NVDA and VOO. Swing: AMD and TSLA when bullish. Sell 20–30% covered calls on the core. Rebalance quarterly or at 5% drift. No position over 15% of the portfolio.”

The more concrete your plan, the more KOVA can respond with specific, dollar-based moves instead of generic commentary.

Live Inputs (Optional)

If your strategy defines explicit states with clear options — like per-ticker bias or risk levels — KOVA can extract them as Live Inputs: toggles you can adjust without editing your strategy text.

Example in your strategy

| Bias | Coverage | Put Selling |

|------|----------|-------------|

| Bullish | ~40% | Allowed |

| Neutral | ~50-60% | Selective |

| Bearish | ~70% | Blocked |

This becomes a BTC Bias toggle with options: bullish, neutral, bearish. Change it anytime without touching your strategy text.

Not required. Live Inputs only work if your strategy explicitly defines states with options. If KOVA can't find any, that's fine — your strategy still works normally.
